With extensive experience working alongside UN agencies, governments, NGOs, universities, and corporate sectors, he specializes in social and behavior change, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, and capacity building. His work spans public health, nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and child protection, driving transformative solutions that improve lives and communities.

Vishal Benhur is a Counselling Psychologist and currently serves as a Counsellor at Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies (CAIAS), Bangalore, India. With a passion for mental health awareness and emotional well-being, he provides counselling support to undergraduate and postgraduate students, addressing academic, emotional, and mental health challenges. His approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy and Art-Based Techniques, offering a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and personal growth.
Beyond individual counselling, Vishal is actively involved in mentorship and student well-being initiatives. He has designed and facilitated a Mentor-Mentee Matrix, connecting students and faculty to foster holistic development, resilience, and academic success. To enhance accessibility and engagement, he has also developed digital platforms to streamline mentoring processes, ensuring structured support and continuous evaluation.
